[Old Decoys]

Gene and Linda Kangas are recognized authorities in the field of waterfowl hunting decoys. Together, they have authored three books devoted to decoys: Decoys: A North American Survey, 1983; Decoys, 1992; and Collectors Guide to Decoys, 1992. They have also contributed to other books and lectured on the subject at such places as the Shelburne Museum and The Museum of American Folk Art. Their research to write books and articles has resulted in first-hand experience with literally hundreds of thousands of decoys. One of their specialties has been and remains "folk art decoys."
