Hello,

This is my grandfather. Its great seeing this article on him. I remember going to visit him when I was younger. He had a house/shack on the banks of the Kennebec. In addition to the painting and carvings he built his own boats, took people out ice fishing, and hunting. I have many photos of him hunting and fishing. I used to fish off his dock. He also left me with a few of his pieces of art. One of which is a self portrait that he did of himself. Many of his pieces were left to a long time friend whose last name was Pinette.

He was an incredible person.

It was an interesting read. Didn't think there were many artistic Sirois' out there. I came across this article while looking for a player on one of URI's sports teams.
