Gene and Linda. Once again you’ve hit the nail on the head with your recent article, “Joel Barber & Adele Earnest: Visionaries Who Defined Decoys as Folk Art” (January-February 2009 issue of Hunting & Fishing Collectibles Magazine). I love reading your thoughts on decoys and the decoy collecting community. Speaking for one who appreciates antique decoys, I thank you (a well respected, senior member of the community) for you’re willingness to state loud and clear your thoughts on the direction our “hobby” is taking.
